Crocodilus hauriens | |
---|---|
an old illustration of a dungavenhooter | |
common names | dungavenhooter |
lifespan | 75-80 years |
full-grown size | 5' |
diet | carnivorous and piscivorous |
habitat | prefers wetlands, especially marshes |
can you eat it? | yes; nice texture, odd sour taste |
old legends state that the dungavenhooter would sneak up on prey, smash them into a powder by surprise, and then snort them up with its large nostrils. in fact, the nostsrils are so large that it used to be reported that the animal had no mouth, only a large nose. however, as research trudges on, this is found to be (obviously) untrue; the mouth is just very small.
i. culture
- to be added
ii. trivia
- seems to only have one sex through the whole species. somehow, no records in any of teres seem to have information on how they reproduce.
