beauregard the bold

a powerful wizard who loves to help the new generations and then go home and drink a margarita or two. she has a flair for the dramatic, dressing in flashy colours and shiny textures, though she does like to keep it more on the practical side so that she doesn't get caught on things during work. she has a spouse who apparently holds a lot of influence in the scholars' society, but they're a bit secretive. beau likes to bring her students to her house for a party at the end of each semester.

a lot of her students think that she's a lot more strict than her appearance would lead you to believe, but she's quite fair. she holds everyone to high standards because she knows, deep down, that you can do it. she's sometimes a little harsh, yes... but she's never cruel! there's an important line that can't be crossed, one that you can easily find yourself further past than you realized, and beauregard makes sure to stay well away from it. encourage, cheer on, support!

she does, however, have one secret that no one would guess from meeting her. she is one of the gods' chosen ones, in the counsel of the purple god. she met it once when she was much younger, having explored too far into the depths of the shrine's library. the memory is foggy and vague to her, but the feelings it inspired still resonate in her as clear as that day.

• long-winded - she tends to ramble a lot during her lessons, but she at least writes key points on the board...

• she is short and fat, please don't ignore that!
• she has little short eyebrows and noticable forehead wrinkles
• she has a tattoo sleeve on her left (your right when viewing her) arm, but i don't have a design finalized...
• she almost always wears a tunic and leggings, with an appropriately stylish amount of glitzy accessories
• she doesn't have bangs, her hair is the same length all the way around

• her enhanced purple magic means that she can alter how sound is perceived for quite a large distance around herself, even muting some sounds while simultaneously amplifying others
• her wardrobe is an even split between practical tunics and leggings, and flashy accessories and robes to pair them with
• she sometimes gets similar sounding words mixed up, but she stopped caring about correcting herself
• there's always a refreshing, sweet scent following after her, but even she doesn't know what it'd be
• despite being a chosen of the god of sound, she's a bit tone-deaf herself
