part of a trio of extremely advanced robots designed to conduct surveys of hazardous areas, dainsleif has a keen sense of danger. however, that sense is probably too keen, as she's quite a paranoid and easily startled person, always on high alert. she tends to come across as quite angry and snappy, but it really is that she's very scared. when she feels more clear-headed though, she's energetic and loves to play sports with anyone who will join her.
dainsleif and her siblings live in a relatively big village with lots of friendly people, many of them treating the siblings as if they're part of their own family. it's a relief, really, as dainsleif isn't too comfortable with being alone. in recent days, she's been trying to do things on her own as much as she can, but often finds herself being trailed by small groups of children who think she's the coolest person ever...
her and her siblings are part of a series of robots called RGB (Remote Guard Bots), originally designed to be small, remote-controlled support drones accompanying survey teams. however, in the testing phases of programming, the first one began to show signs of self-awareness, so the production of the series went in an entirely different direction. the scientists started working with this first program to figure out what the best avenue would be to create a good final result - what they decided on was basically, "why not just make a couple of humanoid robots and see how that goes?" in the end, the RGB series is a much smaller-scale creation than they were first imagined to be, but everyone involved is happy with the results, and can use the experience as a stepping stone for a better future.
table of contents
i. personality
- nervous - she is easily stressed out, prone to horrible worrying and anxiety, though these days she does have a good support system in place
- focused - sometimes it can be a little difficult for her to get started, but she really enjoys getting lost in little tasks and activities
- rash - she sometimes lashes out at people when her emotions run too high, doing or saying things she doesn't truly mean in the moment
- creative - she doesn't care at all for more polished, tidy art, and is incredibly good at making abstract scenes with any materials she likes
- good listener - she likes to lend an ear to those around her, both to try and bridge the gaps, and also to put her own experiences into perspective
ii. design notes
- her hair is evenly split down the middle, her left side being white and right being blue (opposite to you, when viewing her), but her hair is messy so there's a bit of each sticking out around the border; her bangs cover her eyes quite a bit!
- her right arm has micro-metal plating all the way up to just below her shoulder; this same plating can be seen around her jaw, neck, back, her legs below her knees, and the back of her left hand
- she has two thin, tall horns on top of her head, and square shaped ear plates on the side of her head
- from her knees down, her legs are sort of a straight cylindrical shape, ending in feet that are kind of similar to a high heel in shape, but without the actual heel-spike itself
- her body type is sort of rectangular, a bit stocky; her jawline is a bit square, too
iii. motifs
- swords
- coyotes
- fluffy white clouds
- chainlink fences
- screen static
iv. trivia
- she is psychotic and autistic
- her name refers to a sword that must be used to kill every time it's drawn, but it is ironic in her case; every time she's deployed on a survey, she's key in making sure everyone survives
- it's a bit hard for her to play sports that involve a lot of kicking since her feet are shaped the way they are, but soccer is her favourite by far
- she doesn't need to sleep, since she can just go into rest mode or plug herself in, but there's something so appealing about the act of it to her
- she doesn't like to eat or drink, she doesn't need to, but she enjoys eating pop rocks
