monday gravenstein

monday is an antiques seller with an odd sense of style, never being seen without some form of odd-shaped sunglasses. they know everything and everyone, until they don't - they're very forgetful, having lived so long, and it does bother them a fair bit. they try their best to remember everyone, often feeling indebted to anyone who shows them kindness (perhaps they have very low self esteem. not that they would show that in public...)

in the world of teres, vampirism occurs through being revived from the dead. monday woke up in a house, with no memory of who they were or what they would be doing there. they snuck out before they were found, just in the off chance they weren't supposed to be there, and was found wandering the streets by a mailman who brought them to the hospital. they were nursed back to health - as best as a vampire could be, back in those days - and were given help finding a place to live and ways to make a living. they have a strong appreciation towards postal and healthcare workers due to the help they received.

there's a lingering feeling of loss and regret in monday, one that they feel they could fix by reuniting with someone, but they just can't seem to find who...

i. personality

• funny - while it is a bit of an act to cover up how self concious they are, they do genuinely enjoy cracking jokes and having fun with people around them
• forgetful - to them, it feels like their brain is a sieve, just letting all the important things through, and it tears them apart every single time
• sensitive - they're very self conscious about all the things they've forgotten and struggle to understand currently, often overcompensating in various silly ways
• grateful - monday is always more than happy to repay people who are kind to them, often going above and beyond what they reasonably would need to do
• creative - they have a very quick imagination and are able to put their thoughts and feelings into art very easily

ii. design notes

• their hair texture is 3c, and always dyed a bright colour with roots showing; they like trying out different hairstyles, but usually fall back on a low ponytail
• their eyes are a very dark grey, and slightly upturned, but they usually wear large, dark sunglasses of some kind
• they are quite thin and have a flat chest, with very long legs
• they always wear at least one vibrant pattern, maybe two, but always paired with a monochrome piece - for example, a black shirt with patterened pants; that being said, they aren't fond of skirts
• they have sharp teeth that usually stick out a bit when they smile

• despite being a vampire, they do not enjoy consuming blood at all; they are vegetarian so they get their iron other ways
• they often cry when they struggle to remember things

• they have autism and ptsd
• they don't remember if their name was always monday gravenstein, but they like it, so they don't bother thinking about it
