bai suyin

a spacey apothecary who tends to hyperfocus on their work. suyin doesn't like talking, but will if needed; what's "needed" is up to their discretion though. that being said, they love helping people and will often go far out of their way to aid others in need. always friendly and bright when awake, suyin is a well-loved member of their community both for themself as a person and what they provide to those around them.

their fatigue makes it hard to work day-to-day, so they work in bulk loads when they can and rest for long periods in between. many people aren't used to that kind of supply schedule, so it made finding work a little hard at first, but eventually suyin struck gold with a flexible distributor who's always been willing and happy to take bulk shipments and sort them out as needed. currently, they're living a comfy life with this work schedule and a big white dog named bo.

i. personality

• smart - you've gotta know quite a bit in their line of work, but even outside of their area of expertise, they're quite the little font of knowledge
• subdued - they don't feel emotions very strongly, and express them even less so
• handy - they almost always have something nearby that'll solve whatever problem you have, either directly on their person or on some shelf just in arms' reach
• stubborn - it can be a good trait at times, especially when asserting boundaries that need to be respected, but at other times suyin can be a bit of a hardheaded know-it-all...
• hesitant - because of their fatigue, their health suffers a bit in general, so they're wary of trying anything unfamiliar in case it turns out to be a problem for their well-being

ii. design notes

• they're lanky with a flat chest and soft features
• their eyes and tattoos are a pale bright green, matching in colour
• they mostly wear warm earthy tones and pale colours, and their style consistents of soft, layered clothes that are easy to put on or take off
• their hair is smooth and straight, but it does flip out at the end of the back portion
• sometimes they use mobility aids such as a rollator or a cane on days that moving around is particularily difficult

iv. trivia

• they are vegetarian, and lactose intolerant
• they enjoy reading bad light novels
• they are really bad at games of any variety, but enjoy them regardless
• they have chronic fatigue and are prone to infections
• they're autistic as well
