vesna grahn

a kindhearted and gentle soul, though her scars and career intimidate people. she's very softspoken and calm, almost never seen without a small smile on her face. she was a bounty hunter in the past, but settled down after too many near-death experiences. she likes to attend community events and get to know people, and she has many friends because of this! she often feels like she's nothing special in comparison to the people she meets, especially whenever some well-traveled explorer comes through, but no one she talks to feels the same way. everyone loves to hear about her experiences and the people she once knew - she talks about them with such bright warmth in her voice, after all...

she lost many friends to carelessness in her previous line of work, and now focuses on helping people grow strong and healthy so that they can face the day with energy. one of the main problems she ran into in the past were people who didn't take care of themselves, thinking confidence and training alone could get them through hard days. now, you and i know that's just not true, but some people just don't think about it at all. that "not thinking about it" is what hurts vesna most to remember, just how many people she'd seen falter because they were too headstrong to eat a good meal before heading out. and so, she is doing her part to change it.

vesna provides ingredients to the people in her town with no monetary cost, being happy with trading for other goods and services, sometimes even for free. she's generous and altruistic person, one who really strives to make sure everyone is doing as well as they can be.

i. personality

• quiet - she loves socializing, but she likes to listen much, much more than she likes to talk
• intimidating - it's funny though, kids are less scared of her than adults tend to be... perhaps the implications of how many scars she has is lost on the younger generations
• concerned - she really does care about everyone's wellbeing, to the point that it sometimes becomes a bone-deep worry
• stern - sometimes bordering on harsh, even; she feels that she knows best, especially when it comes to people trying to do things that she's failed at before... "it didn't work then, so it won't work now"
• defeatist - there were so many failures in her past, it's hard to just move past that... though, she tries, she tries every single day

• the fur on her body is a dark pinkish-gray, while the longer fur (hair, ears, end of tail) is a lighter dusty pink
• she has dark pink paw pads

• she generally wears very plain clothes in muted colours, with most of her clothes having dark stains on them
