weiss park

a flashy looking man who is actually very very shy and withdrawn. he warms up to people quite quickly, showing his underlying bright and warm personality, but there is always hesitation lingering at the edges of everything he does. he doesn't have a lot of memories of his past, having developed amnesia after an incident that neither he or anyone around can seem to remember, but he is making the best of his current life! he has a bit of trouble caring deeply about or connecting with most of his life though, because he feels it could slip away once more in the blink of an eye... but he tries. more than anything else, weiss always tries.

right now, his most grounding passion is hunting; both to keep populations under control, but also to try out various kinds of ingredients in his cooking. however, he tends to get a bit lost in his focus at times, with it having the opposite effect of "grounding" him... when he comes out of times like that, he feels shaken and upset, regretful of the fact he almost lost himself again. it's good to have friends around though, to keep him in check and to help him enjoy life more than he would've alone.

in recent years, he was scouted by an airship pilot who was in dire need of a good healthy meal. it's pretty funny that she doesn't know her way around a kitchen, like, at all, considering her name is biscuit, but... none of our business, really. he's enjoying himself a lot though, making lots of friends along the way and finding all kinds of neat new things to eat too.

i. personality

• shy - while it doesn't take much for him to start opening up, he's a veritable wallflower until he does, sometimes even resorting to cheap attempts at distracting people for a chance to escape socializing
• distant - he really does feel like there's no point in making true friends if he's bound to forget them anyways... but slowly, he's come to understand that it's worth it in the end
• adventurous - weiss loves to go to new places, meet new people, and most importantly, eat new things... though, often times, this entails eating things that are new to everyone, not just him, and that's landed him with a nasty stomach ache more than once
• diligent - despite his ever-changing surroundings, or perhaps because of them, he values having a careful routine to his day, always having something planned to fall back on just in case something goes wrong
• simple-minded - ...is how he'd describe himself, with all of his concerns in life being "get a bite to eat, have a good sleep, do it again tomorrow"

ii. design notes

• he is stocky and muscular, and has a flat chest with top surgery scars (inverted T style), along with a myriad of scars all over his body - the most important to remember is the one that starts on his mouth and trails down to his chest
• he has body hair all over, but it is rather thin hair, mostly on his chest, legs, arms, and underarms
• he has two piercings on his left ear, three on his right, an eyebrow piercing on his left, a tongue piercing...
• he likes wearing loose shirts and tight pants, and generally does not wear shorts; skirts are fine though, but nothing too short for him!
• he likes trying out different hairstyles, but the long braid is his favourite

iv. trivia

• he has autism and avpd, along with memory issues due to his past
• he is a little hard of hearing in his right ear, so he tends to sit or stand with his left ear facing anyone who might speak to him
• he has very relaxed posture and body language, but when he gets excited, he gestures a lot with his hands
• he can play the accordion alarmingly well!
• he enjoys photography, but he doesn't care much about doing it formally or "properly," choosing to just do it how he likes; it frustrates him something awful when people try to tell him how to do it!
