long ago, there was a mage famed for their kindness and talent in using all the elements despite having no formal teaching or practice in such magic. they loved to perform magic shows for people, often travelling from town to town making flowers bloom and lights dance. nothing brought them more joy than seeing people smile and laugh at their little tricks, feeling their hearts all swell in unison. they never asked for anything in return, but were often given gifts and food of all sorts by the people in the towns they visited. people often tried to scout yue to be a teacher, to be a hunter, to use their magic for something grander, but often damaging in some way. of course, yue declined. that wasn't their magic, after all. well-loved, well-traveled, and well-tempered, yue was truly an icon of joy to everyone in that age.
as fate would have it though, yue suddenly went into hiding one day after their entire family turned up dead all at once. no one knew what happened, and since none could get ahold of yue themselves, it seemed like the case would forever go cold. until, not too long after something that looked like yue appeared, using the same voice, the same mannerisms, and to the misfortune of several former friends of yue, the same magical strength as well...

- they are very very pale, with eerily flawless skin; the inside of their mouth is a grayish purple with sharp teeth
- they have no eyebrows, thick white eyelashes, and pure black irises
- their hair is asymmetrically cut and very choppy
- they are very thin and lanky, with long fingers as well; their chest is completely flat
- they wear ouji style clothing, in shades of dusty pink and pinkish monotones
