humans are a common race on teres, owing to their durability and nimble builds. they can trace their heritage to interracial relationships between elves and dwarves, as the two races have had a long-standing history. a lot of the other races tend to view humans as cute and child-like, though when asked, not many people could explain why they get this feeling.

- languages commonly spoken: depending on how close they are with their elven and dwarven relatives or ancestors, both or either language may be passed down through the family. however, the merging of those two languages, brought about with their respective people growing closer, was a major part of the common language being created, so most humans will find themselves sticking to that as a primary language with elven and/or dwarven being spoken on the side.

- diet: humans eat varied diets, but often have health issues for any number of reasons, with a common problem being allergies or other digestive pains.
- preferred climate: humans live in most areas of teres, though they do tend to shy away from areas that where the climate is more extreme in any way; hardy they may be, they are quite cautious and prefer more mild weather.
- sex: biological sex in teres humans is analogous to biological sex in earth humans.
- reproduction: humans reproduce sexually, give viviparous birth, and can mate with elves, beastkin, dwarves, and other humans.
