- always bustling with people, upbeat music, animal sounds, and the occasional thundercrack, the thunder mountain mushroom farm is a popular spot to travel to. the owners are extremely hospitable and love to meet new people.
- the family who owns it claims that the mountain itself is named thunder mountain, and since they've been there for hundreds of years, everyone believes them. but... theres no name for the mountain listed on any official maps, so it's unsure what's going on with that.
economy
- they grow, sell, and trade mushrooms and other fungus-derived products, like mushroom salt or mushroom growing kits.
- they also give tours of their farm, and have a bed-and-breakfast for overnight travellers. the business is always thriving!
landmarks
- it's kind of a landmark in and of itself...
trivia
- to say that this place has a "population" is putting it in kind of funny terms; it's a family-owned farm... so the population is just that family.
- chances are, they have every single type of mushroom you could ever need.
- the farm itself is situated in a clearing, inside a forest, on the side of a mountain. it's a fairly long ride to get there, but the road isn't rough.
- they managed to snag a good spot for the farm too, since mushrooms thrive in warmer, wetter climates.
- hey, did you know? electricity helps mushrooms grow better. it's true!
